We currently have two flocks, the ewes and the rams. The ewes are kept on our property on Honey Lane and the rams are on another pasture on Parrett Mountain, just East of Newberg. We started our flock with three sheep and one guard llama named Larry. We purchased two ewe lambs from Misty View Farm, and a ewe named Kendra from Ceder Haven Farm in 2005. Kendra was bred that fall and she had triplets in the spring, doubling the size of our flock. Our flock continued growing and has provided us with lots of joy, and, of course, incredible fleeces, and prize winning lambs. At the 2008 Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival (OFFF), Carissa was the best Shetland ewe lamb, and had the best Shetland fleece. Then at the 2009 Black Sheep Gathering (BSG), Carissa was the Campion Ewe. In 2010 at BSG, Finale won first place for Yearling Rams and was the Reserve Champion Ram. In 2011 Bentley was the first place Ram Lamb at BSG, and Mercedes was the Reserve Champion Ewe at OFFF. Last year Phaeton was the Reserve Champion Ram at BSG while Gwyneth won first place Shetland Ewe and Champion Classic Sheep at OFFF.
